Weeks Reading

I read:
2 1/2 hours
pages: 113-215

In the next part of Harry Potter, I think my favorite part of my reading this week, was probably when they first arrive at Hogwarts, and are dropped off with Professor McGonagall. She then tells them they are going to be separated into houses, and leaves. All the students are worried that they were going to fail the test to get in. They then were taken into the Great Hall, and each one was called up one by one, where the sorting hat would be placed on their head. And basically read their minds and told them which house they were going to be sorted into. Harry of course goes to Gryffindor. Which he was very glad he didnt get put into Slytherin. Another one would probably be Harry's first christmas. On Christmas day, Harry gets a present from someone. But he doesnt know who it is from, or what it really is. He finds out it is an invisibility cloak. That used to be his fathers. When Harry finds out what he can do with it, he takes advantage about it, and takes it out during the night, to find out more about Nicolas Flamel. Harry gets caught, in the library, and as he is running from Filch and Snape, and he runs into a room with a huge mirror. When he looks into the mirror, his parents are staring back at him. He sits there pondering on what he is looking at. He decides he needs to bring Ron to show him this magic mirror. But when Ron looks in the mirror he sees himself holding the Quiddich Cup. He thinks the mirror tells the future. Harry says there is no possible way. Harry goes back the next night, studying the mirror. As he is looking in, Dumbledore appears and tells Harry not to spend all his time with the mirror. It is nothing but a fool's game.
